For first time use, you will need to input at least two destinations, such as your home and work address. The phone will remember your destinations and assign a "Speed Dial" key for quick access to traffic data on and around you route. You can add, change or delete destinations later at any time. It is suggested that mark your home, work, or daycare addresses as your regular "Commute" destinations. Other destinations, such as SFO airport, Disneyland or Lake Tahoe as your "Leisure" destinations.

Quick tip: if you have the accurate street name and number and the zip code, the rest of the fields may be left empty.

Your commute destinations are conveniently marked on your map.

3.

On "Where to Go" screen, press the "speed dial" key of your intended destination. On "From Where" screen, press the speed dial number of your "from" location. The "speed dial" locations are listed on your screen. Note, if you phone supports GPS, and the GPS is enabled and ready, the "from" location may be automatically selected based on your current location and the "From Where" screen may not appear.

4.

The Main traffic screen will show, with your routes being color coded for speed. (Green, Yellow, Red indicate, good, slow, or very slow flow of traffic). Traffic accidents and construction will be marked on the map location where they occurred.

Construction and Accidents are separated by their icons.

5.

To change a route, press # key, the "Where to Go" Screen will re-appear.

6.

Traffic alerts, such as new accidents and slowdowns, are alerted with a soft beep.

7.

To read details of traffic alerts, press the "*" key. The list of accidents and constructions on or around your route will be shown in a list. You can select any one to see the details of it.

8.

If you phone has GPS and is enabled, you can save the current location as a destination. To do so, go to "Options" Menu--> "Destination"--> "Save Loc as Dest", then you can save the current location as a destination just by naming it. This destination will then be accessible through the speed dial list from now on.

All of the above functions, plus a lot more functions, can be accessed through the "Options" menu at any time.

That's it. Enjoy the service!
